There is a John Race who married Ellen Williams on September 9, 1803 in Chesterfield County.6,7,8,9 Moses Race Sr. Moses Race servied in William Dunlap's Company, which was probably from Highland County. In 1812 at Highland County, Ohio, US.10 He died on 6 July 1863 at Pendleton County, Kentucky, US; A suit against his estate for nursing care noted his death as being in May 1863.3,11,4,12 He was buried after 6 July 1863 at Knoxville Cemetery, Falmouth, Pendleton County, Kentucky, US; Knoxville Cemetery is just outside Falmouth.13,4,14 He Moses went from Maryland to Virginia, to Brown County, Ohio and on to Pendleton County, Kentucky. He There is also a report that one of Moses Race's daughters married a Major Abraham G. Wileman. He served in Company D, 18th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. Major Wileman was murdered by Confederate sympathizers in Knoxville, Kentucky in Oct 1863.
